Youâll take the lead on planning activities across complex NEC4-driven projects, shaping programmes from early design through delivery and handover. Expect a mix of technical challenge, stakeholder influence, and strategic input.
Key responsibilities include:
* Building and maintaining robust, cost-loaded programmes in Primavera P6
* Managing change, EOTs, and compensation events aligned with NEC4 requirements
* Leading programme and contract reviews, supporting commercial teams with delay insights
* Producing clear planning dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI
* Bringing teams together through collaborative planning workshops
* Conducting risk-based evaluations and advising on potential H&S implications
* Supporting lean delivery initiatives to enhance predictability and efficiency

Who You Are
Youâre an experienced planner ready to step into more ownership and visibility. You perform best in fast-paced infrastructure environments and youâre confident engaging across diverse delivery teams.
Youâll bring:
* Strong experience in civil engineering or infrastructure (highways, rail, utilities, major civils)
* Proficiency in Primavera P6 and a solid understanding of NEC3/NEC4 processes
* A commercial mindset with experience supporting claims and programme impact assessments
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Familiarity with Power BI or similar reporting tools (desirable)
* The ability to drive planning best practice across multidisciplinary teams
