The Opportunity
Due to rapid and extensive expansion across all business sectors, we are excited to say that we are looking for a motivated and highly analytical Commercial Finance Business Partner.
In this role, you will support the commercial finance team in driving business growth and profitability by providing financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to optimise business performance. As a Commercial Finance Business Partner, you will collaborate with various departments, including commercial, HR, and operations to contribute to strategic decision-making and ensure financial objectives are met.
Assisting the Commercial Finance team in producing accurate and timely Management Accounts, all relevant analysis and ad-hoc reporting, including variance analysis and commentary to the Board.

Key Accountabilities:
* Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis to evaluate business performance, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
* Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development and maintenance of budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with the commercial finance team to ensure accurate financial projections.
* Business Performance Reporting: Prepare regular reports and dashboards highlighting key financial metrics, KPIs, and variance analysis to track business performance and communicate results to stakeholders.
* Cost Analysis: Analyse costs and expenses to identify opportunities for cost optimisation, efficiency improvements, and profitability enhancement.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including commercial, HR, and operations, to provide financial support, guidance, and insights in alignment with business objectives.
* Ad hoc Projects: Contribute to various ad hoc financial analysis, business cases, and projects as required, providing accurate and timely deliverables.
The Ideal Candidate Profile
* Part-qualified or fully qualified ( ACCA or CIMA) or equivalent commercial finance experience or a highly experienced Qualified by Experience (QBE) candidate
* Proven experience in a commercial finance or finance business partnering role, ideally within retail or a trading-led environment.
* Exposure to financial analysis, budgeting, or business partnering is preferred.
* Construction industry would be an advantage (Not essential)
* 2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field. Prior exposure to financial analysis, budgeting, or business partnering is preferred.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, influence decision-making processes, and build strong working relationships.
