The Role
We are recruiting for 2 compassionate Care Assistants to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our customers every day.
As a Care Assistant at Margery Girling House, you would be expected to embrace values of empathy, respect, and dignity as you provide essential care to individuals in need.

In caring for our customers, your main duties will include:
* Personal care
* Medication administration
* Supporting people through temporary or terminal illness
* Helping with eating and drinking
* Light domestic duties such as bed making
* Support with social, physical activities and mental stimulation such as hobbies and recreation

About Margery Girling House
Margery Girling House is situated on the coast in Old Felixstowe. Felixstowe is an historic seaside town with many local amenities including nature reserves, cafes, doctor’s surgeries, and shops.
Margery Girling House is an Extra Care housing scheme, helping our tenants to live independently for as long as possible. It provides security and privacy of a home, with shared facilities and 24-hour care services if needed. It also offers couples the opportunity to continue living together.

Person Specification
* Care Certificate, is desirable
* QCF Level 2 in Health and Social care or equivalent, is desirable
