About the Role
Are you an experienced CNC Turner looking to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where precision and quality matter?
Millitec Food Systems is seeking a skilled CNC Turner Setter/Operator to join our growing team in Draycott. You'll be responsible for setting and running Haas lathes, producing high-quality components for our industry-leading food automation equipment.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a small-batch, high-precision environment and is keen to contribute to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Set and operate CNC lathes (Haas control)
Interpret engineering drawings and machine parts to specification
Run multiple machines where possible to support productivity
Self-inspect parts using a variety of measuring equipment
Ensure work is completed to a high standard, right first time
Identify and suggest process improvements to support output
About You
Essential:
Proven experience setting and operating CNC turning centres
Able to confidently read and interpret technical drawings
Competent in using inspection tools to check your own work
Desirable:
Knowledge of Mastercam or CAD/CAM programming
Star sliding head machine experience
