We are looking for a dynamic Creative Lead to take charge of the Ipswich Town Football Club's visual identity, storytelling, and fan engagement across all channels. This is a unique opportunity to combine creativity with football culture, shaping how our supporters experience the club both on and off the pitch.
The Creative Lead will drive campaigns that capture the passion of our supporters, celebrate the club's heritage, and amplify our global reach. You'll be responsible for developing creative strategies that deliver innovative campaigns, making the club stand out across digital, print, stadium, and broadcast platforms.
You'll also be tasked with developing best practice, including "test and learn" on creative and personalisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own and evolve the club's creative identity, ensuring it reflects our values, history, and ambition.
* Create, develop, and own campaigns that bring matchdays, player stories, and community initiatives to life.
* Lead and inspire the marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
* Work closely with Marketing, Digital, Commercial, and Media and Comms to deliver exciting and engaging campaigns.
* Delivery and Operations to align creative with business and sporting objectives.
* Oversee the production of all creative assets—from kit launches and matchday graphics to sponsor activations and fan engagement content.
* Maintain brand consistency across stadium environments, social media, digital platforms, merchandise, and international campaigns.
* Create work that resonates with lifelong supporters while attracting new audiences globally.
* Keep a pulse on cultural, sporting, and design trends to ensure the club remains at the forefront of football creativity.

Knowledge and Experience
Essential:
· Proactive and self-motivated, with a drive to take initiative and push creative boundaries.
· Forward-thinking and innovative, able to spot trends and translate them into opportunities for the club.
· Resilient and confident, capable of holding their own in high-profile discussions with senior stakeholders, partners, and players.
Desirable:
· Ability to showcase driving creative change
· Implementing new technology to improve output
Skills and Abilities:
Essential:
· Calm under pressure, with the ability to deliver high-quality creative work to tight deadlines, especially around matchdays and major campaigns.
· Flexible and collaborative, thriving both when working independently and as part of a wider team.
· Working in Motion Graphics
Desirable:
· Knowledge of video production, and stadium/large-format creative.
Education and Training
Essential:
· Experience in Adobe Suite/Figma
· Multichannel creative execution
Desirable:
· Previous experience working with a football club, sports organisation, or global brand.
· Test and Learn/Personalisation Software Experience (such as MovableInk)
Other Requirements
Essential:
· Passionate about football and fan culture, with a deep understanding of what engages and inspires supporters.
Desirable:
· Knowledge of best practice in other entertainment sectors

* Continual improvement in engagement metrics, including CTR, Conversion Rate and Marketing ROI
* Planning and execution of 5 big campaigns across the season, including Season Ticket Renewals, Membership Launches, Kit Launches, Fan Engagement and Christmas across the club.
* Growth of our social media and database through creative execution.
