Employee Relations Advisor – Ibstock, Leicestershire. This is a full‑time, permanent, hybrid position at our head office.
Responsibilities
* Advise and coach managers on disciplinary, grievance, absence, conduct, capability, and performance matters.
* Manage employee relations cases from initial consultation through to outcome and appeal stages.
* Support workplace investigations and the preparation of investigation reports.
* Handle employee complaints and conflict resolution.
* Attend formal hearings and meetings.
* Advise on risk management and best HR practice.
* Interpret employment policies, assisting with policy development and reviews.
* Analyse ER trends and recommend improvements.
* Maintain accurate records, case documentation, and logs.
Qualifications and Experience
* Previous experience in an Employee Relations or HR Advisor role with case management.
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR policies.
* Experience handling ER cases independently.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution.
* Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to manage sensitive matters confidentially.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
