The Role of the Key Account Manager
* Your focus is to promote the purchase of high-quality lighting products, including lighting, lighting controls, and luminaires, while actively creating demand through strategic project hunting.
* Key sectors include M&E contractors, consultants, food manufacturing, logistics, warehouses, and industrial.
* You will be responsible for influencing decision-makers such as M&E contractors, consultants, food manufacturing, logistics, warehouses, and industrial end users, ensuring their products are specified and delivered via appropriate channels.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships across your territory to drive specifications and close project opportunities.
* Collaborate closely with lighting designers, ensuring optimal product solutions are offered and aligned with project requirements.
* Consistently seek out new project opportunities and convert specifications into sales.
* Ensure all activities align with company policies.

The Ideal Person for the Key Account Manager
* The ideal candidate will have a background in lighting, particularly external sales. Experience with lighting contractors, installers, lighting designers, wholesalers, or industrial sales is advantageous.
* Proven ability to build strong, lasting relationships with both consultants and end users.
* Knowledge of the project sales process and exposure to sectors such as food manufacturing, logistics, warehouses, and industrial is desirable.
* Confident communicator with the ability to influence specifications and secure project wins.
* Ambitious, driven, and eager to learn and develop both personally and professionally.
* A natural relationship builder who thrives in a role combining strategic thinking, technical knowledge, and people skills.
