Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs? A specialist school in North Liverpool is seeking dedicated Children’s Support Workers to join their team, supporting pupils aged 3–19 with:

1. Autism (ASC)

2. Complex Needs

3. PMLD

4. SEMH

5. Learning Difficulties

About the Role

You’ll work as part of a supportive, skilled team to help pupils access learning, develop independence, and thrive in a nurturing environment. Every day is different, and your impact will be immediate and meaningful.

What You’ll Be Doing

6. Providing 1:1 and small‑group support

7. Assisting with communication, sensory regulation, and emotional wellbeing

8. Supporting personal care where required

9. Helping create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment

10. Working closely with teachers, therapists, and wider school staff

What We’re Looking For

11. Experience in SEND, care, youth work, or a related field (school or non‑school settings welcome)

12. A calm, resilient, and compassionate approach

13. Ability to build trust and positive relationships

14. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential)
