Are you a passionate and organised data led learning & development specialist who is keen to utilise their specialist L&D and training skills, alongside having the opportunity to be involved in project planning and working on and delivering critical corporate level projects?
James Andrews are proud to be partnering with a leading not-for-profit employer who are now looking to appoint a Learning & Development Data Project Partner on a fixed term contract for six months. This will be a full-time position based in Bedfordshire, with hybrid working offered alongside a competitive salary paying £47,000 - £50,000 per annum (pro rata).
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of conducting training needs analysis and will be able to influence and engage with stakeholders across the business.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
1. After familiarisation with the data literacy project, develop a Training Needs Analysis (TNA) approach for the different business areas
2. Communicating the need and approach to the TNA to the relevant management forums
3. Holding workshops with managers to explain and engage them with the TNA
4. Completing the data literacy skills gap analysis (TNA) using a variety of methods e.g. workshops, 1:1 and team conversations, data capture
5. Recommendations for data literacy training for leaders and colleagues
6. Recommendations for the content of data literacy training for owners, leaders, stewards and colleagues and other roles
7. Sourcing data literacy training provider (s) or identify internal training options
8. Where required supporting the communications team's data awareness and engagement campaign
9. Organising the data literacy training and handover for implementation
10. Reviewing the measurables and targets in the original Strategic Data Plan and make recommendations as required
11. Developing a reliable, ongoing method of evaluating training is fit for purpose and newly acquired knowledge and skills are regularly implemented across the business
12. Devising and delivering regular communication updates across the business tailored to suite the target audiences
Experience required:
13. Extensive experience of conducting training needs analysis (TNA)
14. Project planning and working on and delivering corporate level projects
15. Influencing and engaging with stakeholders in an environment where training needs is not on most managers agenda
16. Ability to design solutions to development needs other than organising training courses
17. Comfortable with, working both strategically and hands-on operationally, as well as working alone or as part of a team
Qualifications or training:
18. Degree qualified or equivalent (E)
19. Project Management qualification (E)
20. CIPD/L&D qualified (D)
