Job summary
Are you passionate about making a real difference in children's lives? We're seeking a Specialist Clinical Psychologist for a part-time, fixed-term position within our CAMHS Learning Disability Team at Erlegh House, Reading.
The team, which recently celebrated its first year of service, provides specialized mental health and behavioral support to children with learning disabilities. Since opening, the service has received over 250 referrals and has expanded to include Clinical Psychologists, Learning Disability Nurses, Behavior Specialists, and Assistant Psychologists.
In this role, you'll:
* Manage a clinical caseload, delivering tailored psychological interventions.
* Conduct specialist assessments, case formulations, and evidence-based therapies.
* Perform risk assessments and develop risk management plans.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
* Contribute to individualized treatment plans and promote psychologically informed care.
