Hours: 45 per week (07:30 - 17:30)
Rate: £30.00 per hour (Umbrella)
The Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Civils Operative (Shuttering Joiner / Carpenter) to support works at Pembroke 400kV Substation as part of a major extension project. This is a full-time temporary position to provide additional capacity within the Energy division, working on a live infrastructure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Fabrication and installation of formwork
Placing and finishing concrete
Working accurately to Temporary Works Designs
Assisting steel fixers with installation of rebar
Constructing signage frames and ad hoc timber items as required
Supporting reinforcement installation where required
Maintaining strict adherence to site health & safety proceduresEssential Requirements:
Proven experience in formwork and shuttering carpentry
NVQ (or equivalent) in Formwork/Carpentry
National Grid Person ticket (mandatory)
Manual Handling certificate
Experience working to Temporary Works Designs
Full PPE (must be in place before attending site)Desirable (Not Essential):
Slinger/Signaller
Banksman

45 hours per week
07:30 - 17:30 working day
Umbrella payment only
IR35 pre-assessment completed
