We are part of Access Education Group which boasts 32 campuses nationwide with over 5,000 students & apprentices across ACC, dBs Institute (Higher Education) & Access Sport About the Role To support the Head of Funding & Compliance in monitoring regulatory changes with impact on all areas of funding and compliance ensuring compliance with all funding streams and regulatory standards for the group, including Study Programmes, adult education, Apprenticeships and HE. To lead, develop, and implement an internal framework that guarantees compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements for 16–19 study programmes and T Levels, ensuring maximum audit readiness and high-quality provision. To manage the accuracy of student data, auditing enrolment documentation, and ensuring that study programmes—including work experience and English/Maths conditions—are fully compliant to protect funding. To work with key colleagues in the Systems & Information team to contribute to the development of management information systems. To take day-to-day operational responsibility for implementing appropriate policies, procedures and processes to monitor compliance with funding requirements throughout all aspects of the company to ensure appropriate, documented assurance. To support the Head of Funding & Compliance in ensuring the Company maximises its funding from all funding agencies, employers and learners. To work with the Head of Information & Systems on the provision of management information to enable effective senior management decision-making and to support the quality improvement framework. To coordinate, on a dotted-line basis, the devolved administrative functions relating to bursary and other student and funding-related requirements through the centre-based administration teams. Professional Experience Understanding of 16-19 funding mechanisms, bursary rules, and High Needs student requirements Experience of managing large information databases. IT literate (Level 3 or equivalent) with advanced IT skills including databases, spreadsheets and report writing. Experience of developing strategy for information systems and related technologies. Experience of working within the FE sector including knowledge of funding, ILR and student data requirements. Experience of operating and managing student record systems. Knowledge of and experience with relevant computerised systems (Tribal EBS4 and Goldmine). Experience of training and development of staff and managers in relation to funding, MI systems and procedures. Experience of leading successful teams. Evidence of strong inclusive team working approach and understanding of and ability to work with non-IT staff to translate organisation and customer needs into successful service delivery.
