Our client, a highly respected offshore law firm, is looking to recruit a senior insolvency focused litigation lawyer (Solicitor or Barrister) to lead their contentious insolvency team. Sitting within one of the island’s best litigation practices, you will be adding strength to what is already a cohesive and driven leadership group.
You may currently be a Senior Associate, Counsel, or junior Partner; regardless, you will bring the experience, gravitas, and ambition to thrive in what could be a career‑defining role. You will aspire to partnership, if not already at that level.

Requirements
* The role requires admission in Bermuda, the UK/Ireland, or in an equivalent Commonwealth jurisdiction such as Australia, Canada or New Zealand.
* It is expected that the right person will have a minimum of 10 years’ relevant post-qualification experience, with more senior candidates strongly encouraged to apply.
* Strong advocacy skills are essential, and you will have significant experience of handling insolvency related disputes. Experience of commercial disputes would also be an asset.
Salary and application information
* A highly competitive low-tax salary (negotiable according to experience).

* Interviews will initially take place via videoconference with the possibility of final stages taking place with the partners in Bermuda.
* Start dates negotiable, typically around 3-6 months, (depending on your notice period).
