Job Description
To grow our aftersales department and to further enhance customer service and equipment longevity, we have created an AFM Field Sales Representative role. This role is essential for conducting on-site customer visits to assess plant condition, identify required parts and services, and support preventative maintenance planning. A dedicated field presence will, grow revenue, improve turnaround times, customer relationships, and equipment reliability. This role involves travel throughout the UK for a minimum of 3 days a week (excluding travel time) to attend customer sites.
About The Role
* Carry out on-site health checks of customer equipment to assess condition and wear.
* Identify and recommend parts or maintenance actions to improve equipment reliability and longevity.
* Prepare and submit reports on site findings, including condition assessments and sales opportunities.
* Liaise with engineering and AFM team to review internal drawings, technical documentation, and BOMs to confirm correct parts.
* Prepare and issue quotations for parts and service.
* Provide market information and support the preparation of pricing on parts and service.
* Develop plans and tactics to support sales of equipment by enhancing the aftersales business.
* Act as a key customer point of contact for technical queries related to plant health and maintenance.
* Build strong relationships with existing customers and identify further business opportunities through service and parts.
* Travel throughout the UK (minimum 3 full days a week excluding travel) to attend customer sites.
* Support AFM team with planning preventative maintenance schedules and site-specific part kits.
* Promote the value of preventative maintenance and full life-cycle support of Kiverco equipment.
* Support the development and commercial offering for service contracts.

Desired Criteria
* Previous experience in a field service or technical sales role with heavy plant or equipment.
* Experience using CRM.
* Health and Safety awareness for working on live customer sites.
* Ability to carry out service work on site if required.
Required Criteria
* Strong understanding of recycling plant and equipment, or a willingness to quickly develop knowledge of Kiverco machinery and systems.
* Good understanding of plant diagnostics, wear, and maintenance planning.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings, service manuals, and parts documentation.
* Excellent customer facing and communication skills.
* Willingness and ability to travel across the UK / Ireland at least 3 days per week.
* Demonstrated ability to identify aftermarket sales opportunities through technical assessment.
* Full driving license
