What you’ll do
1. You’ll look after a number of patches and neighbourhoods (ably supported by our Community Housing Assistants).
2. Through visibility, engagement with customers and proactivity on our estates, you’ll really get to get to know our communities. This will help us to improve our local neighbourhoods.
3. Proactively managing anti-social behaviours in our estates, responding to customer queries and complaints.
4. Managing our voids process including liaising with local authorities.
5. Carry out estate inspections, engaging and meeting with contractors on site, as well as carrying out and recording the routine safety and compliance checks in our buildings and communities.

You bring
6. Experience in the housing sector and an understanding of housing management, housing law and in an ideal world, universal credit too!
7. Chartered Institute of Housing Level 3, or be willing to work towards
8. A super organised and methodical approach, you’re also a proactive self-starter with a “can do” positive attitude
9. Resilience, this job can challenge especialy when dealing with complaints
10. Confidence working with external partners and stakeholders such as local authorities, MP’s etc

The practical bits
11. This is a hybrid role, and you’ll spend some days working from our community patches in Maryport area
12. Flexible working hours or there may be some flexibility to adapt your working hours, do let us know about this when you meet us at the interview .
13. We mainly work Monday to Friday and work occasional evenings to meet with customers. The great news is that you’ll be able to shape your own diary.
14. To get from A to B, you’ll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that we’ll pay your mileage!
15. You’ll need a Standard DBS check done and we pay for that.
