The Role...
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Tender to join our team.
Key responsibilities of the Bar Tender will include:
* Warmly welcoming guests ensuring that your voice, manner and behaviour portrays a warm, welcoming and friendly demeanour at all times
* Provide prompt and professional Food & Beverage Service at all times
* Be familiar with Service Standards, monitoring adherence to these and ensuring staff are trained as required and aware of these standards
* Support the team in a hands on approach in setting up & clearing tables
* To ensure that bar service areas are maintained to an acceptable level of cleanliness and hygiene, and the cleaning schedules are adhered to on a daily basis
The ideal candidate for the Bartender position should:
* Have previous/current experience within a similar role, working behind a bar
* Have a strong foundation on the "art of mixology" and classic cocktails
* Have a good product knowledge in all aspects of beverage (i.e. wines, spirits, beer, etc)
* Have previous experience as a barista
* Have excellent communication skills
* Have a friendly, bubbly, flexible attitude and have an infectious drive to be creative.
* Have the ability to handle busy situations and manage workload effectively
Salary and Contract..
This position is offered on a permanent, full time contract, working 45 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays. If you have what it takes to join a vibrant, multi award winning hotel such as The Headland, we would love to hear from you.
Salary dependent on age of successful applicant.
