Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Welsh-speaking education support staff to work in a range of primary and secondary schools across Bridgend. With increasing demand for Welsh-medium and bilingual support, we are seeking enthusiastic individuals who are confident communicating in Welsh and passionate about supporting young people in education.

Teaching Assistant Roles
Pay: £90–£100 per day (depending on experience)
Responsibilities
* Supporting pupils with their learning on a one-to-one or small-group basis.
* Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
* Providing additional support for pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
* Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence, and independence.
* Supporting behaviour management and maintaining a positive classroom environment.
Ideal Candidates
* Fluent or confident Welsh speakers (essential).
* Experience working with children or young people (school, childcare, coaching, youth work, care sector, etc.).
* Patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic about education.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Cover Supervisor Roles
Pay: £110–£130 per day (depending on experience)
Responsibilities
* Supervising classes during teacher absences using pre-prepared lesson materials.
* Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain on task.
* Supporting students with questions related to the work set.
* Reporting back to teaching staff on lesson progress and behaviour.
* Maintaining a safe and positive learning environment.
Ideal Candidates
* Fluent or confident Welsh speakers (essential).
* Experience working with young people or leading groups (education, sports coaching, youth work, etc.).
* Confident classroom presence and good behaviour management skills.
* Flexible, reliable, and adaptable.
