Overview
The successful Design Technology Teacher will plan and deliver engaging and practical lessons that inspire students' creativity and technical ability. You will teach across various specialisms within Design Technology (e.g., Resistant Materials, Graphics, Product Design), ensuring a safe and stimulating workshop environment. Assessing student work, providing constructive feedback, and contributing to the development of the Design Technology curriculum are key responsibilities for this Design Technology Teacher role. An excellent Design Technology Teacher is required.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging and practical Design Technology lessons across relevant specialisms
* Maintain a safe and stimulating workshop environment
* Assess and provide constructive feedback on student work
* Contribute to the development of the Design Technology curriculum
Qualifications
* Qualified Design Technology Teacher (QTS) with a relevant degree
* Proven experience teaching Design Technology at the secondary level
* Strong practical skills and knowledge across relevant specialisms
* Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills
