We're looking for a Technical Services Manager to join our busy Technical department at Cranswick Convenience Foods Valley Park.

What you'll be doing
As Technical Services Manager, you'll play a fundamental role in our Technical team. Reporting to the Compliance Manager, you will be:
* Providing focused support to the Technical Management team assisting in the day to day running of the technical services function ensuring that standards are implemented and maintained in line with external audit and customer requirements
* Leading product and non-product related changes at Cranswick Valley Parkensuring technical tasks are completed in required time frame, right first time and changes are implemented successfully with through communication across the business.
* Driving technical efficiency improvements across site in conjunction with Technical Compliance Manager and assist with the delivery of the technical strategy.
* Supporting close out of any non-conformances raised during internal and external audits.
* Overseeing customer communications, including managing and resolving customer complaints.
* Coordinating timely complaint investigations and analysing trends to drive continuous improvement.
* Producing regular complaint reports for customers, internal teams, group functions, and KPI reporting.
* Managing customer and group technical KPIs and ensuring accurate data is shared with key stakeholders.
* Maintaining the document control system, ensuring updates are issued correctly and obsolete documents are archived.
* Ensuring all internal and customer QAS (Quality Attribute Sheets) are completed to a high standard within agreed timeframes.
* Managing new and existing product launches
* Monitoring laboratory test results to identify trends, and investigate any OOS results to implement corrective actions.
* Leading the food safety committee, supporting site engagement, and coordinating traceability exercises in line with audit requirements.
* Leading technical projects and supporting annual reviews of specifications, recipes, process controls, and labels.
* Keeping customer technical documents, product labels, and recipe masterfiles up to date and ensuring legislative compliance.
* Working with the wider Technical Management team to maintain awareness of current and emerging legislation.

What we need from you
Essential
As this is an interim role, we need someone with strong Technical knowledge to support our team from day 1. You'll need to hold a minimum Level 3 HACCP and Level 3 Food Safety qualification. You will understand the importance of building relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and how this influences your role.
