In this catering position, you will be responsible for all activities in the kitchen and its surroundings, including cooking, organization, and supervision of food service.
Responsibilities include:
1. Supervising kitchen staff.
2. Ensuring compliance with HACCP procedures and completing all related paperwork, including electronic returns.
3. Understanding dietary and nutritional requirements.
4. Transporting and serving meals.
5. Performing general kitchen and dining room duties, such as washing up, setting up, and clearing equipment and tables.
6. Cleaning the kitchen and its surroundings.
We have a temporary Catering Supervisor vacancy in Cupar at St Columba’s RC Primary School, working 30 hours per week on a 52-week contract, with working hours from 8:00am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday. This is a temporary position for 1 year.
The salary range is £24,890.91 to £27,087.17 pro-rata, with a starting rate of £13.26 per hour, plus additional payments for shift work, including weekends. Pay is issued every four weeks.

Applicants should have catering experience or qualifications such as an SVQ, City & Guilds 706/1, or equivalent. Ability to provide effective service both independently and as part of a team is essential.
An Induction Training Day is required before starting the role.
Before confirming appointment, candidates must obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and join the relevant PVG scheme.
