We are currently looking for an Education IP Lead on a full-time, 18 month fixed-term contract. This position sits within the Content & Publications team and we are flexible on the location of this role.
The Job
Reporting to the Professional Learning & Content Lead, this role will:
* Be responsible for the timely creation, generation, and development of appropriate learning support and development resources (both digital and offline) to support ACCA's members, tutors and students
* Lead the quality assurance of content written by approved content providers, learning partners and external authors, ensuring that these are fit for purpose
* Provide technical support in the enhancement of a current suite of learning support and development initiatives
* Provide expertise and guidance to the Learning and Commercial teams in establishing a clear approach to webinars, videos, training of trainers etc.
* Produce and review content relating to ACCA's qualifications and professional development courses for the financial reporting stream of content
* Work closely with the Qualification Education Liaison Manager and members of the Qualifications team to ensure that the content of all products and solutions is fully aligned to the ACCA Qualification
* Contribute to and support the changes to the ACCA Qualification and other ad hoc activities
* Provide technical guidance and assistance to the Regional Heads of Education in the delivery and rollout of appropriate learning support solutions for both partners and students
* Author management, including identifying relevant content development partners and contractors
* The duties listed above are not exhaustive and other ad hoc activities may be required from time to time.
The Person
We're looking for someone who has:
* A professional accountancy qualification with relevant work experience in the professional education industry, ideally with international exposure
* An excellent technical understanding and experience producing study material for a range of ACCA exams
* Experience of reviewing and adapting content across a wide range of ACCA exams with excellent attention to detail
* Experience of producing clear and concise content for professional accountancy publications and courses
* Proven writing skills, including the ability to convey complex information in a concise and compelling way to audiences with varying levels of expertise
* Have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships externally and with colleagues across different departments and to clearly understand their needs.
