Interim Head of Sales Treasury Solution for Core Banking London based | 3 days per week in City | Outside IR35 | Day-rate contract Mandate We are seeking an Interim Head of Sales to lead commercial execution for a challenger treasury solution embedded within a core banking/banking technology platform. This is a hands-on role for a proven fintech sales leader who can build pipeline, run disciplined sales processes, and close complex treasury-led deals end-to-end. The focus is on immediate and sustained revenue delivery across a twelve-month engagement. You will operate as a player–manager, personally owning deals while professionalising the sales funnel. Key Objectives (First 3–6 Months) Build and qualify a strong sales pipeline targeting CFOs, Group Treasurers, and Treasury teams Drive cradle-to-grave sales execution from origination to close Establish a clear sales funnel, forecasting, and deal qualification discipline Win new logo clients across banks, fintechs, EMIs, and regulated financial institutions Position the platform as a mission-critical treasury capability within core banking Work closely with founders, product, and delivery to align treasury use cases and value proposition Responsibilities Own new business sales for a treasury and liquidity management solution integrated with core banking platforms Lead complex, consultative solution sales cycles with CFOs, Group Treasurers, and senior finance stakeholders Personally originate, manage, and close deals Maintain strong pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and CRM discipline Articulate value across liquidity management, cash visibility, risk, controls, and operational efficiency Engage credibly with regulated institutions and senior financial decision-makers Operate effectively in a lean, founder-led, challenger environment Required Background Strong sales experience in treasury systems, core banking, fintech, bank technology, or financial services SaaS Proven track record of closing complex B2B technology deals with CFOs and treasury functions Deep experience with consultative and solution-led sales Solid understanding of treasury, liquidity, cash management, or balance sheet-related workflows Experience operating in challenger, scale-up, or PE-backed environments Comfortable selling mission-critical infrastructure into regulated organisations Profile Immediately available interim sales leader Execution-driven, commercially sharp, and resilient Credible with CFOs, Group Treasurers, and board-level stakeholders Comfortable operating with limited brand and support infrastructure Location & Contract London-based, with 3 days per week in the City Twelve-month day-rate contract, outside IR35 Immediate start preferred
