Job Description
Credit Controller responsibilities:
8. Manage customer accounts and ensure timely payments are received
9. Perform credit checks on new and existing clients to assess risk levels
10. Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue invoices
11. Prepare and distribute regular financial reports to management
12. Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice queries efficiently
13. Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities
14. Support the implementation of improved credit control processes
15. Provide advice to clients on payment terms and account management
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
16. Experience in the accounting and finance sector, particularly in credit control
17. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
18. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
19. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
20. The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
21. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
