The Role As Head Chef, you will: Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth, efficient workflows. Lead, motivate, and manage the kitchen team to deliver consistently high standards. Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality, with strict attention to portion control, presentation, and allergen compliance. Monitor stock levels, control costs, and minimise waste. Uphold and enforce food safety, hygiene, and health and safety standards at all times. Support the Catering & Events Manager in achieving financial and service delivery targets. To ensure that all statutory regulations and company policy are adhered to. About You We’re looking for someone with: Professional culinary training (City & Guilds Level 3/NVQ equivalent desirable). Food Safety Level 3 and strong knowledge of HACCP and allergen management. Experience leading a team in a high-paced kitchen environment. Strong organisational and time management skills. A hands-on leadership style with the ability to inspire and mentor others. Stamina and resilience to thrive in a demanding service environment.
