The role
The holder will interact with both Operations and Head Office teams across the business, including senior business leaders. In addition to providing people solutions, administrative tasks, and reporting, the role holder will liaise regularly with key business departments.
Support regional and district managers in implementing HR initiatives and processes, providing comprehensive assistance and building a pipeline of talent.
Work closely with two HRBPs to improve manager capability by challenging, influencing, and supporting managers to develop their knowledge and ability to manage teams effectively.
Lead ER cases to support effective decision-making, with thorough knowledge of employment legislation. Develop interventions to prevent recurring issues.
Influence managers' thinking and build their confidence to uphold standards and achieve high-performing teams.
Support each stage of the employee lifecycle, seeking opportunities for improvement and change to deliver the business plan.
Advise, influence, and provide constructive feedback to managers to improve organizational effectiveness.
Foster a culture of training, coaching, and empathy across sites and districts to ensure a positive employee experience.
Encourage innovative thinking in organizational design, promoting efficiencies and effective change.
Provide strategic recommendations when developing business plans.
Reporting
Analyze HR metrics and organizational data to identify risks and positive trends, collaborating with HRBPs and managers to develop action plans.
Use HR data to improve case management and reduce case numbers.
Prepare reports, presentations, and business cases.
Business Change Initiatives
Ensure training needs are identified and solutions are developed to support team development.
Support project management and delivery of engagement initiatives like employee surveys and awareness campaigns for apprenticeships.
Collaborate with HRBPs and line managers on the performance management plan, offering advice and support.
Assist managers in identifying key talent and developing plans to future-proof the business.
