We are currently working with a well-established Veterinary hospital based in Leeds, that is seeking a permanent Vet to complement their team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an experienced team. As well as seeing first opinion and routine cases, this hospital also has 19 other practices in the area that feed into the hospital OOH and existing referral services so you have the opportunity to see a good and varied caseload.
Facilities include: Procyte haematology, Catalyst Dx, EPOC, Coags (APTT/PT), Angio/Felv/FIV/Gardia/Parvo/Lepto, Transfusion Medicine, Lipids, Digital Xray, advanced ultrasound with doppler, CT, Flexible video gastroscope, bronchoscope, Video Otoscope and Rigid scope, Laparoscopy, Dental Xray with CR7 Developer, Multiparameter monitors inc ECG/Cap/Temp/Sp02/BP, Doppler BP, ECG, Gen11 vessel sealing, Valleylab monopolar/bipolar, Ligaclips, E20 sterilisation
The role in brief:
* 1 in 4 weekends (no sole charge, 10hrs Sat, 10hrs Sun mainly ECC,
* 30min sick pet consults, inpatient care)
* 4 day week days (Mon- Fri)
* Surgical, Medicine, Dentistry Certificate holder in-house support
* £1,500 Annual CPD allowance, Certificate sponsorship encouraged
* Part of a proactive in-house CPD/Clinical development veterinary team.
* 70 colleagues (15 vets).

The clinic is looking for an experienced, knowledgeable, pro-active small animal Veterinary Surgeon, who is passionate about providing the very best clinical care. You will be a team player, and keen to get stuck in, and support and develop your colleagues. You’ll have excellent communication skills and thrive on the variety in caseload at the practice.
They would also be interested in speaking to any Vets experienced in ophthalmology and would be happy to combine ophthalmology clinics and procedure day.
