About your role:
As a Thermatic Technical FM Apprentice Engineer, you’ll develop and hone your technical skills across various environments and situations.
You’ll work alongside highly skilled technical engineers and be supported by our in-house technical and development teams invested in your future. You’ll have a dedicated apprenticeship mentor and join a national cohort, starting your journey together.
You’ll collaborate with engineers of your trade and other skillsets, focusing on your gas skills and qualifications while gaining experience in HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems in both domestic and commercial settings.
Since we offer both planned and reactive service and maintenance, no two days will be identical. The role involves standard days, with occasional early starts or late finishes. The position is expected to start before September 2025.
All roles are fully mobile, requiring a full UK driving licence and confidence in driving a small van. Our coverage includes regional areas, so travel between towns and cities, including motorway driving, is expected.
Requirements:
* 4 GCSEs, including Maths & English at grade C/4 or above or equivalent.
* A genuine passion for learning a trade and building a successful career, with a focus on excellent customer service.
* A full UK driving licence.
* Availability to attend training at our Manchester Academy and Salford City College.
* Previous experience or qualifications in a similar field are desirable but not essential.

Hours & Location:
Main location: Fully mobile role covering Northwest and surrounding areas.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (40 hours/week). Classroom days will fulfill your 'off-the-job' training hours. Occasionally, early starts or late finishes are required for out-of-hours maintenance.
