The Reproductive Health and Childbirth Research (RH&C) Team is recruiting!
The Research and Innovation Department is expanding its team. We have several research specialties, and the RH&C research portfolio is looking for a Research Nurse / Midwife. There are two full-time positions with a permanent contract. The posts will be mainly based at St James's Hospital but will also cover Leeds General Infirmary.
The post holder will contribute to the conduct, coordination, and delivery of the Reproductive Health and Childbirth Research Portfolio. Key responsibilities include leading research activities, providing participant-centered care, promoting research engagement within the Women's CSU, ensuring high standards of clinical care, safety, patient satisfaction, and compliance with policies, protocols, and legislation.

Main duties of the job
We seek a proactive, self-motivated individual with an interest in research to join our team. Responsibilities include supporting the conduct, coordination, and delivery of both commercial and non-commercial studies, including study setup, participant screening, recruitment, informed consent, and data collection per protocols and GCP standards. Excellent clinical skills are essential for direct participant contact, protocol procedures, and monitoring maternal and fetal safety. The role involves collaboration with clinical teams to integrate research into routine care and working with external agencies, including the NIHR CRN Yorkshire and Humber.
