Salary: £31,586 - £35,235 (starting salary within the grade range will consider experience relevant to the post if required for external candidates). This is the basic salary for a Team Leader, in addition the post is paid enhancements, this can equate to an additional earning potential of up to £5,000 on top of the basic salary. This is a rare and beautiful opportunity. Durham County Council is opening a brand-new, purpose-designed long-stay Children’s Home in Aycliffe, created especially for children and young people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and complex health needs. As a Team Leader, you’ll help shape the heart and soul of this home, leading with empathy, inspiring your team, and making every day count for the children in your care. Interviews It is anticipated that an assessment will be undertake on 6 August 2025, followed by an interview for candidates who progress to the next stage.
