Join us as a Product Lifecycle Strategy Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the Small Gas Turbine (SGT) product strategy. Imagine collaborating closely with the Portfolio Strategy Management (PSM) team to identify market trends, develop and refine product roadmaps, and define compelling value propositions that drive market share and service penetration. You will engage with cross-functional teams, including engineering and global operations, to ensure our products remain competitive throughout their lifecycle. Your insights will directly influence strategic decisions, enabling high-quality margins and fostering innovation in the energy sector. This role is open to candidates located in the United Kingdom or Houston, US, allowing you to be part of a dynamic global team.
How You'll Make an Impact
* Drive the annual Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) process for SGT, gathering input from customers to prioritise R&D proposals.
* Own the Market Evaluation Process (MEP) for SGT, analysing addition/attrition rates and recommending solutions to elevate product roadmaps.
* Be responsible for an R&D budget of approximately 15 million Euros, ensuring effective allocation across SGT programs and projects.
* Collaborate with the Head of R&D Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure projects are executed within budget and on schedule.
* Conduct regular market and competition analyses, communicating findings to customers and aligning strategies as needed.
What You Bring
* A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree (MSc, MBA, PhD) is a plus.
* Proven experience in strategic, sales, project, or product management roles, preferably within the gas turbine and distributed energy markets.
* A proactive, self-starter demeanour with a long-term vision and the ability to drive initiatives that align with business objectives.
* Strong leadership skills to influence and achieve results across teams.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, along with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Our Gas Services division offers low-emission power generation through service and decarbonisation. We bring all gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators under one roof, providing modernisation and digitalization opportunities for decarbonisation.
