Job Title: Day Process Controller
As the Process Controller, you will find that no working day is the same. This provides a very interesting, challenging, and rewarding working environment. You will receive full training and support for the Health & Safety, technical, and process requirements related to the plant.
What you’ll be doing as a Day Process Controller
* Controlling the works processes' day-to-day operation, including the THP sludge stream, and ensuring the site operates according to company requirements, regulatory standards, and customer demand.
* Maximising sludge throughput from the STW to the THP plant.
* Processing faults, advising on rectifications, and raising issues to Maintenance or Performance Managers as needed.
* Carrying out plant isolations, issuing Permits to work, and ensuring safety procedures are followed.
* Assisting with on-site capital projects, coordinating maintenance and operational teams, and raising reactive work orders.
* Monitoring stock levels, requesting and accepting deliveries.
* Collecting and reporting data to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory standards.
* Undertaking safety and security checks and ensuring the health and safety of yourself and colleagues.
Location: Riverside – Rainham, Essex - RM13 8QS
Working hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am to 3:36 pm
Requirements: Full UK driving licence
What you should bring to the role
* NVQ Level 2, BTEC, or equivalent experience
* Technical C&G or HNC (desirable)
* Experience in the water industry or managing relevant treatment processes
* Ability to work independently and cover shifts if needed
* Understanding of health and safety procedures
* Experience with SCADA systems (advantageous)
* Full UK driving licence
