Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Mechatronics Engineer to join the Aero Innovation team within the Motorsports Aerodynamic Department. The role involves developing mechatronic systems to enhance aerodynamics development for motorsport and high-performance vehicles. You will work in a multidisciplinary team, designing, developing, and optimizing solutions to technical challenges, contributing significantly to our competitiveness.

What You’ll Do:
* Design, develop, and integrate complex mechatronic systems for automotive and aerodynamic testing.
* Create system architectures and specifications meeting product requirements.
* Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to develop innovative solutions.
* Liaise with external suppliers, evaluate components, and select technologies.
* Conduct system testing, analysis, and debugging for functionality and reliability.
* Oversee prototype and production solutions, including mechanical design, PCB layout, firmware/software integration, and testing.
* Prepare technical reports, specifications, and presentations for stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Required:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
* 5+ years of experience in mechatronics engineering with a proven track record.
* Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software integration.
* Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX, CATIA).
* Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and programming languages (C, C++, Python).
* Hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, control systems, and power electronics.
* Ability to work in a dynamic environment with strong organization and communication skills.
Preferred:
* Master’s degree in relevant fields.
* Experience with automotive, motorsports, or aerodynamics testing.
* Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink.
* Expertise in CAD and mechanical design.
* Knowledge of control systems and theory.
