We're currently recruiting a dedicated Mess Clark to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Defence on a full time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities will include:
* Maintaining and building a relationship with relevant committee members.
* Create new mess members and ensure mess memberships/bills are up to date.
* Keeping mess member records up to date
* Creating mess bills and I&Es
* Recording of PAYD and Chits
* Processing of supplier invoices
* Support debt management
* Daily cash checks
* Recording of income
* Creation of sales orders
* Posting of journals during month end to ensure SAP is closed correctly reflecting mess bills.
* Producing the monthly mess bills
* Pulling together the I&E
* Debt reporting
Our ideal Mess Clark will:
* Looking to progress a career in Finance with relevant qualifications [e.g. AAT]
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Have an inquisitive and intriguing outlook with confidence to approach the business
* Excellent attention to detail
* Strong analytical and system skills
* Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
* SAP experience (desirable)
