Job Title : Mental Health Support Worker
Location: Worthing
Salary: £11.44 per hour
Hours: Full Time - 36 hours per week

We have an amazing opportunity providing support for individuals that are recovering from a mental health condition across our services in Worthing. You will help some amazing people get back on their feet and achieve their dreams.
The Role
You will be there to provide support, this could be emotional support during a crisis, to have a chat over a cup of tea or just be a friendly face to give reassurance. You will also ensure the property and people are safe and secure.
As the role is close to the town centre as well as to the local transport such as buses and trains and a short walk to local shops and cafes, encouraging active participation in the local community with the people we support.
The ideal Person:
1. Experience preferred although not essential of working with those who self-harm, those who have drug and alcohol addictions and dual diagnosis.
2. Passionate about supporting others and want to make a difference
3. A positive and caring nature.
4. Energetic and understanding
5. Ability to handle sometimes difficult situations and be resilient.
6. A good sense of humour
