The Company: An established IFA firm based in Harrogate who provide financial advice as well as discretionary investment services are looking to add an experienced Financial Planning Administrator to their high calibre Adviser Support team. The role will support 2 very high performing Financial Planners across HNW, complex case workloads typical in the £1m+ AUM range – A highly consultative role with client relations central to the overall business proposition.

* Office Location: Harrogate
* Working Setup: Hybrid - Split between Office & Remote/Home-working

Package: £35-38k base + discretionary bonus and full company benefits

The Role: You will be responsible for handling a wide range of administrative tasks to ensure the highest level of client service. Duties include:

* Providing administrative support to IFA’s, including preparing client meeting packs, taking meeting notes, and ensuring follow-up actions are completed in a timely manner.
* Liaising with clients, providers, and third parties, maintaining excellent communication and customer service.
* Preparing and processing financial documents and forms, including applications, renewals, and policy amendments.
* Client Management: Acting as a primary contact for client queries, updating the back-office system (Intelliflo/First), and preparing client meeting packs for advisers.
* Business Processing: Processing new investments, SIPP contracts, and protection policies from submission to completion.
* Administrative Support: Handling diary management, scanning documentation to a paperless system, processing fund switches, and preparing valuation documentation.
* Compliance: Ensuring all documentation and client records are compliant with industry regulations

The Person: An IFA or wider wealth-management background is essential, along with strong experience supporting advisers who work with private-wealth clients. The role calls for someone who can demonstrate:

* At least two years’ experience in administration or adviser support within a similar financial planning environment.
* Proficiency with systems such as Intelligent Office, Intelliflo, or First Software, with the ability to use them confidently in day-to-day workflow.
* Strong organisational skills, including the ability to manage competing workloads and meet key deadlines effectively.
