Relief Support Worker Responsibilities
* Providing support on an emotional and practical level with personal care needs, household tasks and medication
* Collaborate with service users, their families and involved professionals to provide a consistent and coordinated approach
* Support people to enjoy a wide range of activities within the home and the wider Linthorpe community
* Carry out general administrative duties and housing management tasks
Qualifications and expectations
You will have skills in positive communication and engagement and will be able to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for the people we support across Linthorpe. You will have the confidence to work within a positive behaviour support framework, to accept responsibility and to develop as a skilled practitioner. You must be able to follow agreed guidelines and to work positively within a consistent, mutually supportive team ethos.
Employment type and hours
This is a Relief Support Worker position with flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins. This role enables you to pick up shifts around personal commitments, study or caring responsibilities.
Experience
Experience for Relief Support Worker roles is essential. If you do not have experience, consider applying for a permanent role to receive training and support.
