Responsibilities
* Carry out reactive and planned maintenance to ensure equipment operates effectively.
* Respond to plant breakdowns, implementing both temporary and permanent solutions.
* Promote and enforce health and safety standards in line with company policies.
* Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work.
* Support and train operatives on inspection and maintenance tasks.
* Ensure plant compliance with ISO 19001 quality standards.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free environment.
* Report defects and escalate issues appropriately.
* Undertake ad hoc duties and projects as required by the business.
Candidate Profile
* Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within production or industrial settings.
* Strong problem-solving and risk assessment skills.
* A flexible, reliable, and proactive approach.
* Excellent communication skills to work closely with management and operatives.
* Knowledge of maintaining stores and identifying strategic spare parts.
