Consider joining us at Tradewind Recruitment as a Future Cover Supervisor for secondary schools in Bristol, starting from October 2025 on short or long term placements.
Tradewind provide a free Cover Supervisor course + 2,500 CPD courses, ensuring you are upskilled and constantly improving your abilities.
Your role involves:
* Create and maintain a positive learning environment
* Engaging with students and facilitating productive class sessions.
* Controlling the classrooms behaviour in line with the school's behaviour policy
* Presenting a lesson with the resources provided (you don't actually need to know about the subject)
We offer competitive pay ranging from £120-£140 per day PAYE, Monday to Friday, with flexible days to accommodate your availability. Whether you can commit to a full week or just a few days, we'll work with your schedule.
Requirements:
* Experience working with young people aged 11-16 (preferred)
* A Levels in relevant subjects
* Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional references
* Legal right to work in the UK
* No prior teaching experience is necessary, but enthusiasm, communication skills, and a minimum of A Levels (preferably in English, Maths, Science, Business, Drama, Psychology, Humanities, or Sports) are desired.
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll work in secondary schools, overseeing various subjects and ensuring the smooth delivery of lesson plans!
