Senior Recruiter within the Civil Engineering Sector in Scotland
Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a passion and experience working on Bridges? This role offers a unique chance to elevate your career while making a tangible impact on infrastructure development in Perth.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic team dedicated to maintaining and improving the region's Bridge Network. The role involves overseeing cost management, ensuring project efficiency, and maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial management of Bridge projects from inception to completion.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement cost control measures.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to contractual terms and conditions.
- Provide expert advice on contractual matters and dispute resolution.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Professional membership with RICS or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, specifically within Bridge projects.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in cost management software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
