Job Description
Position: Project Controls Manager – Infrastructure
Location: London, United Kingdom
Purpose: Lead the programme controls function for a programme, ensuring accuracy and consistency of plans, cost, safety, environment and performance reporting; deploy available controls resources effectively.
Responsibilities
* Lead the programme controls function for a programme, ensuring accuracy and consistency of plans, cost, safety, environment and performance reporting.
* Deploy available controls team resources to best effect.
* Review new project proposals/remits and ensure realistic, resource plans are developed for programme delivery.
* Identify resourcing requirements to support the programme and liaise with planning functions to resolve resourcing issues.
* Provide efficient day-to-day service to Programme and Project Managers in reporting on plans, costs, safety, environment and programme performance.
* Monitor data input by project teams to cost and performance systems to meet required data standards.
* Manage the production of Investment Plans in compliance with the Investment Competence Framework.
Qualifications
* Experience in planning and scheduling functions, including schedule development, control and analysis, in both field and home office settings.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Proficiency with PC operating systems and standard software applications; experience with Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Office.
* Knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and startup work processes; familiarity with engineering and construction management.
