Finance Manager £40,000 - £50,000 International, German, Family Owned Business Leading Manufacturer Reporting into the UK MD £60m turnover Preston, Blackburn, Burnley, Wigan, Bolton, Rochdale area This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced finance professional to step into a senior management position withing a global manufacturer. The role is a crucial aspect to this companies UK operations and will be reporting directly into the UK Managing Director. Alongside your responsibilities in finance you will own the HR function for your office and training will be provided to ensure you are knowledgeable and comfortable with this aspect of the position. Key Responsibilities: Finance Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning to support business objectives. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders. Liaise with external auditors, accountants, and regulatory bodies. Implement and maintain effective financial controls and systems. Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP or Infor. HR (Secondary) Utilise our outsourced HR partner to understand HR policies, procedures, and compliance in line with employment law. Manage employee records and ensure data compliance (GDPR). Act as a point of contact for HR queries, providing guidance and advice. Champion employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives. Requirements: The right candidate will be an experienced Finance professional who is ambitious and looking to add variety to their role. This position is UK wide, reporting directly into UK senior leadership. You are not required to have previous experience in HR activities however it will certainly give you a head-start.
