About You (Qualifications and Experience)
* Programming in one or more of JavaScript, Java, .Net, Python
* Collaboratively designing and building proof of concept or production systems
* Source controlling your code with version control systems (e.g., Git, Mercurial, Perforce)
* Utilising CI/CD tools (e.g., Bamboo, Jenkins, TeamCity, Bitbucket) to streamline delivery
* Continual testing with automated testing frameworks
* Ensuring code quality with static code analysis tools (e.g., SonarQube)
* Working in an agile environment (e.g., Scrum, Lean, Kanban)
* Common software design patterns
* Using creativity to solve client challenges
Desirable Experience (we’ll help you with these if not already familiar):
* Machine Learning software (e.g., AWS/Azure ML, Google TensorFlow)
* Cloud deployment and management (AWS, MS Azure)
* Containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
* Relational, document, or graph database systems
* Software configuration and deployment (e.g., Ansible)
Responsibilities (What you’ll do)
* Collaborate within a team to design and deliver software solutions
* Develop and maintain production-ready code with emphasis on quality and reliability
* Participate in software design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions
* Adhere to security and compliance requirements relevant to national security projects
