What You'll Be Doing
As an
AI Engineering Apprentice
, you'll work alongside engineers and data scientists on projects such as:
* Developing and testing AI models for self-driving features, predictive maintenance, and smart vehicle behaviour.
* Assisting with data collection and annotation for machine learning.
* Supporting the integration of AI algorithms into simulation environments and hardware systems.
* Working with Python, machine learning libraries (like PyTorch/TensorFlow), and automotive tools like ROS or MATLAB.
* Participating in team sprints, technical reviews, and brainstorming sessions.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking an individual who is eager to learn, solve problems, and make an impact in the automotive tech world.
Essential Requirements
* 3 B's at A level to include Mathematics and Physics*
* Applicants with a strong profile who are studying A level Physics or A level Mathematics may be considered.
* Unless specified differently above, you will also need a minimum of GCSE grade 4 or C (or an equivalent qualification) in English Language and either Mathematics or a Science subject.
* Able to commute to Gaydon headquarters by personal transport, due to limited public transport to the site.
