<div><h3>Legal Cashier</h3><p>Slater and Gordon are a leading consumer law firm which provides a broad range of specialist legal and complementary services. We are undergoing a huge transformation across all areas of the business, with a focus on people and technology, and our mission is to give people easier access to our world class legal services.</p><p>We are looking for a Legal Cashier to join our talented team in Liverpool, in which you will be responsible for providing Legal Cashiering support and analysis for the Firm across all practice areas, Personal Injury and Consumer Lawa duties including bill payments, BACS, faster payments, CHAPs and cheques.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Managing client accounts and responsible for allocation of clients’ cash in accordance with Solicitors Accounting Rules (SAR).</li><li>Preparing online electronic bank transfers, i.e. CHAPS, BACS and Faster Payment.</li><li>Assist with cheques to be produced for local and regional offices.</li><li>Consider all new requested information in line with agreed Service Standards/ISO Procedures and SAR requirements.</li><li>Monitor and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.</li><li>Support with the management of the Service Desk inbox ensuring timely and accurate responses are delivered to stakeholders.</li><li>Maintenance of residual balances in line with SRA rules.</li><li>Ensure business cash is maximized accordingly.</li><li>Build effective relationships both internally within the Finance team and externally with the teams wider stakeholders.</li></ul><h3>What are we looking for?</h3><ul><li>Excellent Excel skills.</li><li>Experience in Accounts Receivable processes, ideally within a Legal Cashier function.</li><li>Ability to manage own workload in line with achieving both personal and team objectives.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.</li><li>Adhering to deadlines and escalating issues to management accordingly.</li></ul><h3>What we offer in return?</h3><p>We offer a hybrid working environment, alongside a competitive salary and benefits package including 25 days holiday allowance plus the option to purchase an extra 5 days, pension scheme, health cash plan, life assurance and income protection insurance.
