Business Development Manager - Rail (Light Rail)
Location: Home-based with UK travel
We are looking for an experienced sales professional to join our busy Rail team focused on UK Light Rail. The role involves working from home and traveling across the UK to meet clients and prospects.
Responsibilities include:
* Developing and executing sales strategies for the UK Light Rail market.
* Driving sales growth and profitability in the Light Rail sector.
* Engaging with stakeholders in local authorities, transport operators, and infrastructure partners.
* Maintaining customer satisfaction and advocacy.
* Collaborating with bid teams to develop proposals.
* Account management of existing Light Rail clients.
* Utilizing data to identify leads and sell group solutions.
* Maintaining sales forecasts and pipeline reports using Salesforce.
Candidate profile:
Previous experience as a Business Development or Sales Manager in the UK Light Rail sector is essential. Key skills include:
* Experience in account management and sales within the Light Rail market.
* A proactive approach to new business development.
* Understanding of procurement processes.
