Role Summary
Responsible for delivering large-scale critical HV & MV grid interconnection projects within EMEA under tight deadlines. Requires high-level technical understanding of substations, cables and overhead lines and experience in managing projects from design to energization.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead delivery of HV/MV grid interconnection projects across EMEA.
* Collaborate with design engineering, construction, planning, environmental and real‑estate teams to meet tight timelines.
* Manage stakeholder relationships and provide weekly reporting on risks and issues to senior management, director and vice‑president level.
* Drive the grid infrastructure delivery program, standardise processes, develop tools for delivery execution and support financial budgeting.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, construction management or a related technical field.
* 5+ years’ experience delivering HV & MV infrastructure projects/programs from design to energization.
* Experience building power substations with utilities and understanding their environment and culture.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
* Experience analysing cost/benefit trade‑offs across a portfolio and managing international teams is a plus.
* Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in data centres or critical infrastructure.
* Master’s Degree (MBA/MS) and/or PMP certification.
* Experience designing substations or other energy infrastructure.
* Experience working for utilities or energy regulators.
* Ability to communicate in additional languages.
