Design & Technology Teacher (Engineering Desirable) – Part Time

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher to work on a part-time basis in a well-regarded, high-achieving mainstream secondary school in the heart of Bridgend.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking school environment through the UK’s leading education recruitment agency. The role is to begin as soon as possible, following completion of all safeguarding and compliance checks.
The successful candidate will have experience teaching Design & Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a specialism in engineering highly desirable. You will be confident delivering engaging, practical lessons that inspire students and develop their technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality Design & Technology lessons
Teach across a range of DT disciplines, with engineering preferred
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Adhere to school policies and maintain high standards of behaviour
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Design & Technology at secondary level
Engineering specialism (desirable)
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential)
Ability to start promptly following vetting and clearance
