Location: Kettering General Hospital
Contract type: Fixed Term Contract Until 31st March 2027
Hours per week: 35 (Monday to Friday)
Salary: £23,745 per annum based on 35 hour week
A full UK driving licence and access to vehicle is required for this role

The British Red Cross is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our Health and Local Crisis Response team as a Service Coordinator.
The team supports people in the space between hospital and home, responding to needs following an emergency, and maintains an extensive network of external relationships across health, social care, and emergency services.
A day in the life of a Service Coordinator:
1. You will build and maintain strong positive relationships with hospital staff at Kettering General Hospital and other medical professionals in the community, including GP surgeries, to receive patient referrals.
2. You will evaluate and analyse the outcomes and progress of the services, assign incoming referrals to support workers, and monitor service delivery to ensure safety and quality.
3. You will oversee record-keeping, recruit, engage, and manage your staff and volunteers, ensuring the team works together seamlessly.
To be a successful Service Coordinator, you'll need:
* An understanding of how to improve service quality for the benefit of users.
* To handle queries in a diplomatic, professional, and confidential manner.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate people.
* IT literacy and education to GCSE level (or equivalent).
* A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
