We're currently recruiting an ambitious Chef to help us create exceptional food experiences for Chartwells on a full-time basis contracted to 35 hours per week. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food that brightens our clients' and customers' days, within the market-leading food service company in the UK. Note: This role is contracted to 42.6 weeks per year.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing high-quality food that delights clients and customers
* Overseeing and implementing menu changes
* Identifying opportunities to improve food services
* Listening to and acting on customer feedback
* Supporting the creation of new menus and food concepts
* Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image
* Monitoring inventories to ensure well-stocked kitchens
* Maintaining hygiene standards through cleaning responsibilities
* Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health & Safety regulations
Ideal Candidate:
* Passionate about great-tasting food and customer service
* Holds a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
* Experience supervising a team
* Experience in a similar Chef role
* Holds a Food Hygiene certificate
* Flexible approach to working
