What is the role?
The purpose of the role is to be responsible for the project team and to manage project procurement, scheduling, budget, production monitoring, logistics and installation activates for a full service cladding solution.
Primary Responsibilities
Maintain comprehensive budgets and project schedules as outlined by the company guidelines
Monitor the compliance with building and safety codes and other regulations as per the company Health and Safety policy and review site safety plans and ensure the communication and administration of specific requirements.
Review all consultant and contractor reports and proposals for investigations and remedial proposals
Coordinate and manage site related issues whilst maintaining a high level of customer service
Ensure regular liaison with each project team to record progress against programme and prepare minutes of the same
Maintain project tracking logs, change orders, submittals, site deliveries and critical material shipments
Maintain Project Status Reports for the Group Special Projects Director and participate in internal project status meetings
Ensure regular contact with building Freeholders in conjunction with the relevant building project team
What experience do I need?
NVQ/GNVQ/HNC/HND or higher in construction, building or project management desirable, but not essential
Basic knowledge of construction and project management
Good knowledge and use of MS Office and MS Excel
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
